Reflection On Sending a Professional E-mail To My Teacher Mentor
I had to create and send a professional e-mail to my teacher mentor to thank her to agreeing to be my mentor as well as finding a day to meet up with them in September. I also added my number so she could call or text me so we could set up a meeting in the e-mail. I felt so nervous writing the e-mail thinking it would sound childish or not very professional in her standards. I also felt a bit anxious in how long it would take for her to reply to the e-mail.I didn't know if I would have to write another e-mail to have her read the first e-mail or if I would later have to text her. But this has helped me to begin to write more professional works for this class. I hope to write more papers like this in the future to help better my papers.

Practice does help us all develop our communication skills. You will have ample opportunities in EXCEL this year to practice writing professional emails, creating professional documents, and even talking to professionals on the phone and in person!
